John Dunsmore
Personal Trainer
John has been working in the health and fitness industry for more than 12 years now. He started his career as a sports coach in a number of sports including football, basketball, athletics and early development golf (PGA). In 2004, John started working at Bannatynes Health Club, Livingston as a fitness advisor and had worked his way up through the ranks since then to become gym manager. During his 5 1/2 year spell at Bannatynes, he also completed a level 3 personal training course through Fitness Scotland and his level 3 diploma in sports therapy.
He specialises in personal training, sports massage therapy, core stability, weight management and sports coaching. John is a highly motivated and energetic person who takes great pride in helping other people achieve their goals.

Jacqueline Dunsmore
Personal Trainer
Jacqueline has been working in the fitness industry for 10 years.  She started working as a Fitness Adviser at Bannatynes Livingston after completing a HND in Fitness, health and Exercise. After a year or so as Fitness Adviser was promoted to Studio Co-ordinator at the club and gained a mass of new skills and experience.
 
Jacqueline specialises in personal training, sports massage, pre & post natal fitness and group exercise. Jacqueline has two young children which proves that it is possible to have a busy life but still make time for fitness and well-being.
 
Jacqueline shares a passion for group exercise classes and teaches Body Attack, Body Pump, BodyStep and Body Combat and she cannot think of a better way to exercise.  Jacqueline believes exercise should be fun but at the same time push the participant to the next level to achieve their fitness goals.
 
 
 
 
 
Alyssa McCarthy

A little bit about me: I am currently working as a full time fitness instructor carrying out fitness classes, implementing gym programs and working with clients on a 1-1 basis.
Fitness has always been a passion of mines even from a young age as I competed at an elite level in gymnastics for 10 years and represented Scotland a number of times. Unfortunately I had to retire due to an injury set back. Since then I have completed my HND in ...applied sports science where I achieved my Level 2 which allowed me to become a fitness instructor. I have experience taking numerous fitness classes implementing gym programs specific to each individual and working with clients on a 1-1 basis.
I am currently working towards my level 3 and level 4 to enable me to further my knowledge to help my clients lead a healthier lifestyle and reach there fitness goals.
